Family Pictures...

I decided we would take family pictures at the same time we took Zach's one year pictures. I just thought that we would share them with you, I love them so I hope you all like them just as much as we do! :)

Zach's First Birthday!

July 4th 2008
I know it has been almost 2 and a half months but finally here are the pictures of Zach's birthday. We had the party at Willow Creek Park, and it was a lot of fun! I worked long and hard before hand to make the invitations, (Thanks Aunt Kristi for the use of your Cricit!) I also made both of the cakes (Thanks mom for all of your help and encouragement over the phone) and last but not least the cute pin the tail on the Lion game. If you can't tell we had a Lion themed party! It was so much fun all except the part where I was sick as a dog all day long, ya I thought I was going to die! We will get back to that in a bit... So we played pin the tail on the lion and opened gifts (thanks again to everyone for your cute gifts!) then Zach dug into his cake and everyone else had some of the other cake. I missed the entire cake segment of the party because I was sure I was going to die at any moment! I hope everyone else had a good time! :) We also had planned to go to the West Jordan Stampede and watch the fireworks but again for the 2nd year in a row we missed it. At least last year we got something really awesome for missing the fun, not so much this year! :( I guess it is a good thing that Zach wasn't sick and he won't remember that I missed most of his party. He also won't know that we didn't see fireworks or go to the rodeo! :) Next year is bound to be better right? Let's hope so! Thanks again to everyone who came to the party! I hope you enjoy the slide show.. there are a lot of pictures but they are so fun! Enjoy! :)

Zach Attack!!

So these pictures are over 2 months old but I am still trying to catch up... I just thought I would post some cute and silly pictures of Zach Attack.

He was so silly with the Peek-a-boo when he finally figured it out he loved to play and I love this pic of his cute "boo" face.

If you don't know Zach was afraid of animal noises for the longest time. Whenever Paul would moo like a cow Zach would make this face and sometimes he would cry. I guess I am a bad mom but I thought it was too funny and I knew (well hoped) it would not last long so I had to get a picture of it! :)

Zach loves to drink his bath water... please tell me this is just a phase and he will grow out of it soon! :) By the way how awesome is the water, Crayola makes these tablets that color the water, they are so fun!

This was the first time he un-rolled the toilet paper, he was just too cute to get mad at so I took pictures instead. They make me smile when I look at them and I love how he is dragging it behind him as he tries to make his get away! What a cute little stinker!!

Family picture day...

One Sunday afternoon we met Marci and Dan at Gardner Village to take pictures of each other. It was a beautiful day but it was too sunny and Paul and I are squinting in all of the pictures. Zach did not want to smile so, as you can see none of the pictures turned out all that well. There were quite a few that I thought were really cute and funny but I don't know that any will go on the wall. Thanks Marci for your best efforts though, we had a great time! :) I do love the ones where we are looking at the pond.. that way you can't see our squinty eyes. :)

Zach and Paul had to check out the ducks while we were at the Village.

Messy boy!!

Kelsie turned 18 in June so we went to dinner and hung out with them on her birthday. I made her a lion cake like Zach was going to have on his birthday as a practice. After dinner we went to Kelsie's for cake and ice cream...

Aunt Kristi made Zach his own ice cream cone... And this is where it begins...

He then got into the cake...

Then back to the ice cream...

Tried to attack Aunt Kristi...

And then attacked the cake again... Oh my goodness! He was a wreck, yes we did give him a bath before we took him home! He was more into getting messy with this cake than he was on his birthday. Sad day!

Future Fireman?

These pictures were also from Idaho, My brother in law has this awesome fire truck that no one is allowed to play in... except for Zach? He didn't get in trouble so I guess it was ok! Zach loved it, the bell clangs and it didn't take long for him to figure that out! He is such a ham!!!

Family Time!

We went to Idaho to see my family and to attend a family reunion. At the reunion Bob & Linda (my cousins) brought this rocket launcher they had made and the kids (Paul included) made their own rockets to launch. It was so cool! I even made one but it was really crappy! Sad day Jill Young! Anyway, we had a "blast" at the reunion!

After the reunion we went to dinner at Pizza Villa. This is Paul's favorite place to eat in Preston, we MUST eat there everytime we go to Preston it is now tradition. They happened to be having their annual Pig out so we were very lucky to have been a part of it. :) Zach ate 3 silces by himself as well as 2 breadsticks... the little piggy piggy! At the pig out they were giving out prizes and sunglasses for the kids. They gave Zach a pair of sunglasses which he did not want to wear so Uncle Brent put them on... oh boy! Zach was freaked out by the glasses, it was so funny! We got an extra pair for some reason so NaTasha put them on too... Zach did not like that either!! We had a great time in Idaho!! Love ya fam!!

Zach eating his first slice of pizza!

Zach & Grandma Priestley

Zach says "I love me some Pizza!"

Paul won a prize.. He was so excited!! He looks like a St. Bernard with it around his neck! :)

As you can see Zach is not impressed with the glasses but that is uncle Brent's hand reaching for them.

Zach looks like he is thinking.. Mom what is going on??

Oh boy! Uncle Brent sure thinks this is funny but I am not quite sure about this!

NaTasha & Brent in their awesome sunglasses! You guys look hot!! :)

Zach was covered in Pizza sauce so we stripped him down to his diappy and shoes and put him in the carseat... can you say white trash baby!?

A much needed treat

After such a long night terrorizing Rodney Zach needed an ice cream cone...

Do you know Arctic Circle has courtesy cones?? Awesome!!

He took some time out to eye my shake...

Then it was back to his cone. Zach loves ice cream!

This was not the end for the ice cream cone, he ate the entire thing cone included! He is such a munch mouth! :)

Kitty Kitty

On our way to Idaho to see my family, we stopped off at our friends Parker & Dayna's house to visit. They have a cat named Rodney and Zach loved him!! I don't think Rodney had quite the same appreciation for Zach. I think they had fun together, well at least Zach did. I'm sure Rodney was glad to see us go!

Look at Zach's face, he is so excited! Rodney is just stareing him down not quite sure what he is?

At one point Zach would get too aggressive and Rodney would throw his paw up in defense.

Sometimes Rodney would just lay there and let Zach hit him...

Then he would get bugged and run off...

That was not a problem for Zach he would just chase after him. It was the funniest thing ever, it makes me want to get a kitten or a puppy for him although we won't anytime soon.
